Date of incident: October 14th, 2006
Time of incident: Approximately 2:00 p.m.
Date of release: October 16th, 2006
Time of release: 1:10 p.m.

THERE WILL BE A PRESS CONFERENCE WITH THE FAMILY TODAY AT 3:00 P.M. AT BURNABY DETACHMENT LOCATED AT 6355 DEER LAKE AVENUE.

Burnaby RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Alexandra REZIAPOVA. 18 year-old Alexandra REZIAPOVA was last seen by her parents on Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:00 p.m. when she left the family home located at the 4300 block of Beresford. Her parents reported her missing to police late yesterday afternoon.

REZIAPOVA frequents several parks in the Burnaby and Vancouver area and usually takes her camera with her. She left the camera at home this time; her parents advise this is unusual. She generally visits Burnaby Lake, Central Park and Deep Cove. She is currently a student at BCIT and failed to attend class this morning.

REZIAPOVA is described as an 18 year-old Caucasian female, 5’6” tall, weighing 130 lbs, green eyes, long brown hair, she has a 2 cm long scar below lower lip, and she wears glasses on occasion. REZIAPOVA was last seen wearing brown fleece jacket, black t-shirt, green pants and grey runners. It is believed she did not bring any money with her and investigators have determined she had not accessed her bank account.

Her parents advised this is unusual for her daughter not to come home and they are concerned.
