Notification - Agassiz male Patrick Courtoreille

Agasiz, BC: The Agassiz RCMP Community Policing Office believes
that compelling circumstances exist requiring the RCMP to
warn the public that Brian Patrick COURTOREILLE poses a
risk of significant harm to the safety of female youth and
adults in the town of Agassiz and Chilliwack.
COURTOREILLE currently resides in the town of Agassiz
following his release from a correctional facility on
December 01, 2005. He has an extensive record of violent
sexual offences that raises concern for public safety.
Brian Patrick COURTOREILLE is a Native male, 165cm (5’5”)/
70kg (154lbs), with long brown hair (pony tail) and brown
eyes. He is 45 years old.
COURTOREILLE is a three time federal offender, with convictions
for sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, and
uttering threats. These offences occurred from 1983 to
1993, with three of them occurring while on bail or parole
for similar offences. Three of his victims were females
aged 15 to 19. All of his victims were not known to him
prior to the attacks. He also has a long history of substance
abuse. COURTOREILLE is a violent sexual offender and is
considered at high risk to
re-offend.
COURTOREILLE must abide by several conditions upon his
release from prison. They include but are not limited
to:
* No contact directly or indirectly with any female under
the age of 18.
* Not to posses any weapons, including knives, except
for preparing/eating food.
* Not to possess or consume any illicit drug or alcohol.
* Not to enter any licensed premise where alcohol is primary
commodity for sale.
Anyone witnessing Brian Patrick COURTOREILLE in violation
of any of these conditions is asked to contact their local
police department by dialling 9-1-1. The RCMP are notifying
the residents of Agassiz and citizens of British Columbia,
of the relocation of this repeat Sex Offender. |
