The Coquitlam RCMP are continuing to search for 14 year old Kwan (James) Ho Yoon of Coquitlam. Search and Rescue searched two parks on Westwood Plateau and the Bunsen Lake area last night. They will continue to search today, in and around the Eagle Mountain Trails, Port Coquitlam Trails and the Coquitlam River area.

Investigators are asking anyone who is out walking/hiking around Bunsen Lake, Eagle Mountain Trails, Port Coquitlam Trails north of Robson Street and the Coquitlam River to please keep a look out for James.

Background;
The Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the publics assistance in locating 14 year old Kwan (James) Ho YOON from Coquitlam. He was last seen at approximately 1 p.m. Friday afternoon (January12th) at Pinetree Secondary School. He did not return home after school, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Descriptors;
Height - 172 cm (5'8"), Weight - 68 kg (149 lbs), short black hair, brown eyes and he wears glasses. YOON was last seen wearing a blue and gray winter jacket, gray pants, white sneakers, gloves, and a blue roots backpack. YOON has no history of running away from home, and his family is very concerned for his safety. He does not have any medical or psychological conditions (such as suicidal tendencies). There is no history of drug or alcohol abuse.

YOON likes to explore the forest areas around his home in the Westwood plateau area.
